Julie Finck
LNSS Coach, Official and Masters player Julie Finck grew up playing inter-crosse in Sackville. Once the boys graduated from the inter-crosse league to the box league, there was no place for Julie to play but she was not deterred. She was introduced to field lacrosse when a group from Ontario (Joanne Stagna) ran a weekend clinic at SMU (she was in high school at the time). A few years later, with field lacrosse in hand she went to tryouts in her first year at Queen's University. Julie played university lacrosse for four years, and then coached the team the season after she graduated. Next stop for Julie was the University of Melbourne Australia for her Bachelor of Education where she also played lacrosse.
Jamie Dunbar
LNSS player, Jamie Dunbar, currently attends Dalhousie University where he was part of the championship field lacrosse program in the 2009 season. Jamie also played two seasons (2008 and 2009) in the NCAA for New England College, NH, prior to attending Dalhousie. He was also a member of the U19 provincial
Nova Scotia field lacrosse team.
Jamie played box lacrosse for the Halifax SW Hurricanes, he was an assistant captain of the 2008 SW Hurricanes Junior A championship team and one of the teams leading point getters. He was also a member of the 2008 Nova Scotia Founders Cup team that won a Gold Medal at the national championship, where he was awarded an MVP for one of the games. Jamie is currently playing his second season for the Port Coquitlam Saints in the BC Junior A Lacrosse League.
Darrell Sampson
Currently the Provincial MIdget Box Lacrosse Team Head Coach, Darrell played on the 1977 NS Canada Games Team and has previously coached the Provincial Pee Wee and Bantam teams to National Champsionship medals.

Don 'Hoss' Watts
Don was a star lacrosse player and a member of Nova Scotia's 1973 Canada Games Team which brough home the silver medal.
He was drafted into the NLL in 1975 to play Professional Lacrosse. He later moved to British Columbia and is the author of almost all of the Goaltending Reference/Training material used across Canada to this day.
