JOINT LACROSSE REGISTRATION WILL BE HELD THIS SEASON AT OUR LOCAL HRM MALLS IN ORDER TO HELP PUBLICIZE OUR GAME AS WELL AS TO MAKE REGISTRATION MORE CONVENIENT AND ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL. REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE MALL'S FOR ALL CLUBS.
o Bedford Place Mall, Friday, February 5th – 4 – 9:30pm
o Mic Mac Mall, Sunday, February 7th – 12:00 – 4pm
o Halifax Shopping Center, Saturday, February 20th – 1-5pm
PRE-TYKE LACROSSE INFORMATION (Children born 2004-2005)
**Program pending based on amount of interest**
* This age group (Children born 2004-2005) primarily represents children that are being introduced to structured sports and the game of lacrosse for the first time.
* Program is played without contact. The players do not need full equipment-just a helmet with cage, gloves, good running shoes, and a lacrosse stick.
* Season Length: Approx. 8 to 10 weeks (1 hour per week)
* Location: TBD (Dartmouth area)
* Cost: TBD (Approx. $55 to $65 per season)
Drills, Skills and Games Practiced: Focusing on fun & the basics:
* Ball pick-up, cradling the ball, loose ball drills, throwing, catching, shooting, scrimmage
Parent involvement encouraged!

Helmets and Gloves for Try Lacrosse

We are looking for donations of gently used lacrosse/hockey helmets (with facemask if possible)
and lacrosse gloves suitable to be used at our Try Lacrosse sessions (6 to 12 year olds) in early 2010.
